Advice on keeping your vehicle safe from theft

Dear Resident,

While on patrol in Millfield, we came across a car with the window open.

It is important to always be aware of opportunistic thieves who will take advantage of vehicles left vulnerable.

To keep your vehicles safe, make sure you:

🚗Always check it is locked

🚗Close all windows

🚗Hide electrical items and take your valuables and documents with you

🚗Park in well-lit and busier areas

Our patrols also took us to the city centre and Stanley Park to address concerns about drug dealing and anti-social behaviour (ASB).
